The moonlight bounced in all directions
Hitting the water, visiting other friends
Insisting on forgetting life's rejections
Swaying trees waiting to be still again.
In the dead quiet we look
Seeing for the first time
Into our lives like a book
Now realizing we can shine
Forgetting all responsibility
Never wanting to deny forever
And holding onto humility
Truth is, we'll be together
Evermore.

I love this poem! (even though you forgot the "I" in "infinite"...unless that was supposed to be ironic)

Great use of personification and rhyme!

Now you just need to write a sestina.....
